The Chef

Dieter Hancke is chef de cuisine at the Kreuzjochhaus. The enthusiastic cook started his international career here in the Werdenfelser Land. Dieter gathered experience working for exquisite restaurants, amongst others in England, Switzerland, South Africa, the Caribbean and last but not least in wonderful Bavaria. 

Dieter Hancke is supported conceptually by starred chef Christian Loisl, who in the case of bigger events actually joins the team. Loisl is one of the founding members of the "jungen Wilden" (the young guns, young chefs´alliance). He used to work in Le Gourmet (Otto Koch, Munich), the "Tantris", Munich and the "Hotel Residenz", Aschau (both headed by Heinz Winkler) and for numerous other high-class gourmet restaurants worldwide.
